Ideal Conjunction of Parts

 

To achieve triangulation in a froth, the bubbles reconfigure and each one develops faces and edges.

What seems extraordinary is that all of their faces meet at their edges at angles of 120° and all of their edges meet at their tip-ends precisely at angles of 109.47°. There are no exceptions. This is established science. (See "Rules of Soap Bubble Geometry.")


  Left to their own devices, the bubbles in every froth find a way to form faces and edges which meet at precisely these respective angles. These ideal triangulated conditions are always met, without exception.
