Welcome to UniStates. UniStates is a private US technology company, organized in 1987. Our business is to enable companies to produce a vast number of superior industrial, military, and consumer products for less, using our proprietary Reflexive Materials Technologies (RMT™ technologies). We provide our licensees the design, engineering, manufacturing, and software systems for the organization of most sturdy materials (metals, plastics, ceramics, and other materials) into superior commercial products and structures of uniform quality and performance at competitive costs using RMT™ technologies.

Industrial Trials (InTrialsSM Program)

UniStates’ InTrialsSM Program is a joint undertaking with your company to re-engineer selected commercial parts and components with RMT™ technologies. The intent is to improve the in-service performance and marketability of these products. The first step is to work together to identify and prioritize a list of your company’s current commercial products that we would expect to produce the greatest gains in product performance and profitability through re-engineering with RMT™ technologies. RMT™ technologies are especially advantageous for weight-limited applications where a high strength-to-density ratio, high stiffness, improved toughness, and affordability are important.

For more information on UniStates' InTrialsSM program, please download a copy of the Briefing Paper on UniStates' InTrialsSM Program (Adobe Acrobat required).

Mission

UniStates' mission is to commercialize Reflexive Materials Technologies (RMT™ technologies) and other materials systems in UniStates' inventory. The history of human engineering is defined by three successive technologies: (1) post and beam construction, developed by prehistoric man; (2) the arch, developed by the ancient Romans; and (3) RMT™ technologies, developed by UniStates. RMT™ technologies are a synthesis of the two earlier technologies.

RMT™ technologies alter the mechanics of materials and remedies the pervasive problem of tensile failure in manmade objects, making them stronger. RMT™ technologies minimize the use of materials while optimizing the load carrying capacity of structures. RMT Precision™ materials and RMT Informed™ products and structures are expected to have a significant impact in the aerospace, automotive, electronic, construction, and many other industries throughout the world.

For a non-technical introduction to RMT™ technologies, please see RMTTechnologies Explained. And, be sure to check out Licensing & Co-development opportunities with UniStates.

If you would like someone to contact you about UniStates' InTrialsSM program and licensing and co-development opportunities, please complete the request form found in the Licensing & Co-development section.
